Lead Consultant – Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud (Technical) – UK

Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements:

• 14+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 8 years as an Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Architect working with Oracle HCM Cloud.
• A bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Hands-on experience with UK public sector clients.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Recruitment, Learning, Talent Management, UK Payroll, Pension, OTL and Absence.
• Experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader, BI Publisher and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience translating functional requirements into technical solutions, building integrations and managing data migrations.
• Knowledge of security configuration, custom roles and security profiles, and Redwood enablement tools.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and code, managing Oracle HCM Cloud environments, and overseeing configuration and code migrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical, functional and security risks.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience working in a global delivery environment.
• High analytical skills, customer orientation and quality awareness.
• Experience managing a team of 10 or more is a plus.
• Experience working with change management teams to support end-user adoption is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute Oracle Fusion HCM implementations for UK clients.
• Design and oversee technical implementations, including reports, integrations and data migration.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, including developing and maintaining Fast Formulas and complex BI Publisher reports.
• Design, build and test integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other systems.
• Lead data migration activities, including extraction, cleansing, transformation and loading, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Configure custom roles and security profiles in line with the designed security model.
• Use Redwood enablement tools to customize the user interface and improve the user experience.
• Lead client discussions on integrations, data migrations and reporting across Payroll, OTL, Absence and other relevant modules.
• Explain complex functional and technical solutions to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior management.
• Walk through data mapping documents, plan environments, support testing and manage change requests.
• Guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including technical design, build, testing and post-go-live support.
• Participate in Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and playback sessions, prepare training content and deliver training on technical components.
• Serve as the technical point of contact, mentor junior developers and oversee the quality of technical work.
• Review technical design documents and code to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical risks and issues, and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage Oracle HCM Cloud Dev, Test, UAT and Production environments, including migrations of configurations and code.
• Support system updates and patches.
• Prepare status reports with RAG ratings, highlight risks and mitigations, and maintain the RAID log.
