Lead Buyer - IT & Software

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need proven experience purchasing within IT, software, SaaS, hardware or wider digital services in a complex organisation.
• We need hands-on experience buying within IT, software, SaaS, hardware or digital services.
• We need proven experience leading procurement activities and supplier negotiations.
• We need strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• We need the ability to operate comfortably in a complex, matrixed organisation.
• We need MCIPS qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities:

• We will lead end-to-end procurement activity across IT and digital spend.
• We will partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers in the UK and internationally.
• We will manage a broad digital portfolio and may specialise in specific areas or gain exposure to new and emerging technologies.

We are recruiting for a Lead Buyer - Indirects (IT & Software) based in Hertfordshire on a hybrid working basis, with a salary of £48,000 - £55,000 depending on experience plus bonus. You will join a collaborative, international procurement function with access to best-in-class tools and processes, and we offer strong support for professional development, including sponsorship towards MCIPS.
