Requirements:- Certification as an IT Technician is an advantage, for example Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Basic understanding of multiple operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and iOS.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a focus on endpoint devices and peripherals.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Working knowledge of the setup, configuration, and use of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Must have entitlement to work in the UK.
- A satisfactory basic Disclosure and Barring Service check may be required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a range of information systems, including hardware, software, and applications.
- Work directly to address computer issues and help deliver a world-class digital service.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential hardware issues.
- Use data analytics to determine areas of focus and ensure devices meet security standards.

We are recruiting an IT Support Technician to join our client, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, on a 12-month contract. The role is fully site based in Bracknell with some ad hoc cover in Basingstoke. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.12 to £20.16 depending on experience. Our client is focused on finding answers to some of the worlds most urgent medical needs, and this role supports that mission through hands-on IT support across hardware, software, and applications.
