IT Support Specialist - IT Asset Management

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, including managing remote support across multiple time zones.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common SaaS applications.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, Wi-Fi management, and basic firewall administration.
• Strong service orientation with a focus on operational excellence and high user satisfaction.
• Ability to work closely with IT teams across different regions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proactive, solution-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to track IT assets, manage tickets efficiently, and document processes for knowledge sharing.
• CompTIA A+ and ITIL Certification are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support, assisting employees with technical issues across multiple locations.
• Support workplace systems and IT solutions, ensuring employees have the tools they need to perform effectively.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely procurement and replacement of faulty hardware.
• Collaborate with security teams to monitor alerts, resolve security issues, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Standardize and document IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and configuration procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with HR Operations to set up IT equipment and user accounts for new joiners and ensure smooth offboarding processes.
• Administer and troubleshoot Wi-Fi networks, ensuring reliable connectivity for office and remote users.
• Provide IT and AV support for in-office events, ensuring seamless setup and operation of multimedia equipment.
