IT Support Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in an IT support role (youve done the job, not just studied it)
• Solid understanding of Windows and macOS environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration
• Strong troubleshooting skills and logical thinking
• Confident, friendly communication — you can explain tech without sounding like a robot
• A proactive mindset: you spot problems, not just tickets
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and isnt afraid to ask questions

Responsibilities:

• Being a go-to problem solver for our customers via helpdesk, phone, email, and on-site visits
• Providing 1st / 2nd line support and getting stuck into real-world IT issues
• Setting up and configuring hardware, software, and user environments
• Supporting and maintaining servers, networks, and security systems
• Working with the team on IT projects like upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
• Visiting client sites when hands-on support is needed
• Helping users get the most out of tools like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Keeping documentation tidy and accurate
