IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst

Salary: £38,000 - 40,500 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Defender and associated security tooling
• Confident with Cisco and Meraki networking
• Solid VMware, Windows Server, and Active Directory experience
• Intune and Entra experience would be a bonus
• Comfortable managing a major infrastructure project
• Able to communicate well with stakeholders and internal customers

Responsibilities:

• Work across a predominantly on-premise environment with a growing Azure footprint
• Protect the environment and help keep it running
• Be central to a Server 2016 to Server 2022 upgrade across approximately 30 servers
• Work hands-on across security and infrastructure tasks
• Liaise with stakeholders and internal customers

We are recruiting for an IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst to join a close-knit team in Newbury, Berkshire. This is a security-focused role with real infrastructure depth in a predominantly on-premise environment, alongside a growing Azure footprint. We offer a salary of up to £40,500 plus bonus, onsite working with some hybrid flexibility, and occasional out-of-hours work paid as overtime. This is a hands-on role in a small team where your input counts, and you will be involved in a major server upgrade project.
