IT Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need proven experience managing and preparing organisations for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus audits.
• We need a strong technical background with hands-on experience in Microsoft Server 2019, 2022, and 2025.
• We need experience with Microsoft Azure, including AVD, Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• We need experience with case management systems, ideally Partner for Windows (P4W).
• We need solid knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and infrastructure.
• We need SQL database administration and management experience.
• We need experience with hosted telephony platforms.
• We need experience in cyber security and best practice.
• We need experience managing third-party suppliers, contracts, and renewals.
• We need IT Service Management (ITSM) experience.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment would be highly advantageous.
• We need strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a small team.

Responsibilities:

• We will manage and maintain our network, infrastructure, and hybrid server environment.
• We will oversee IT budgets, forecasting, and cost management.
• We will lead disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and risk management processes.
• We will implement and maintain cyber security, network security, and data protection measures.
• We will maintain our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
• We will provide and oversee 2nd and 3rd line technical support across hardware, software, operating systems, telephony, and printing services.
• We will manage our Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• We will lead, mentor, and support a small IT team of two.
• We will manage supplier relationships, contracts, renewals, and procurement.
• We will develop and maintain hardware lifecycle and replacement plans.
• We will deliver internal IT training, including cyber security, AML, and PMS training.
• We will review and maintain IT policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• We will maintain accurate software, hardware, and licensing records.
• We will work closely with stakeholders across the business to support operational and strategic objectives.
