IT Integrations Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Microsoft 365 and Azure experience
• Microsoft Entra ID and identity and access management experience
• Intune and endpoint management experience
• Proven Microsoft 365 migration experience, including tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Experience across Windows, macOS and Linux environments
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking and security
• Experience with endpoint security tooling, ideally including Defender for Endpoint
• Ability to produce detailed technical project and integration plans
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies and technical delivery
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to identify gaps across technology, policy and process
• Valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and valid passport due to UK and EU travel requirements
• Previous experience leading IT integrations within a mergers and acquisitions environment is highly advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Lead IT integration projects from initial technical discovery through to implementation and handover
• Assess existing infrastructure, applications, networks, identity and security environments
• Design practical integration plans for acquired businesses
• Work with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Sentinel and Defender for Endpoint
• Lead system rationalisation and identify duplication and technical gaps
• Work closely with internal IT teams, stakeholders within acquired businesses and external partners
• Help establish a repeatable acquisition onboarding framework
• Produce technical documentation, playbooks and knowledge-transfer materials for future integrations

We are offering a 9-month fixed-term contract for an IT Integration Engineer based in Sheffield with hybrid working, plus UK and occasional EU site travel. The role offers a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 and the opportunity to lead hands-on technical integration projects that bring newly acquired businesses into a secure, streamlined and consistent technology environment.
