IT Engineer

Requirements:- Previous experience in an IT Engineer, IT Support, Deployment Engineer, or similar technical role.
- Experience setting up, configuring, and deploying Windows-based desktops, laptops, and end-user devices.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience using CRM or Service Management systems to record work accurately.
- Experience managing stock, inventory, or IT asset management.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting and quality assurance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
- Set up and configure new IT equipment to meet client specifications.
- Install and configure end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance checks on all equipment prior to delivery.
- Log, update, and manage all work activities within our CRM system, ensuring compliance with established Service Desk procedures.
- Manage and maintain the off-site workshop and storage facility.
- Receive and dispatch customer equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure all equipment is stored securely and handled correctly.
- Prepare equipment for shipment and coordinate deliveries to clients.
- Maintain high standards of organisation and housekeeping within the workshop.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Desk and technical teams to ensure efficient delivery of services.

We are a growing team offering a short-term 8-week contract for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Engineer.
