Infrastructure Specialist

Requirements:

• We require a UK citizen with 5 years UK residency, currently in the UK.
• We require strong DevOps knowledge across source control such as Git, Bitbucket, or VSTS.
• We require continuous integration experience such as Jenkins.
• We require practical experience with infrastructure automation and deployment automation/orchestration.
• We require familiarity with container concepts and orchestration such as Kubernetes.
• We require experience working with cloud environments such as AWS.
• We require hands-on use of infrastructure automation tools, including Ansible scripting.
• We require network awareness and an understanding of testing practices.
• Active or eligible SC candidates are required.

Responsibilities:

• We will provide environment management, I&T development and maintenance, and Java feature development and testing capabilities.
• We will work alongside the existing CDS programme to deliver nationally critical infrastructure.

We are supporting a tender under the DALAS Lot 3 framework, where IBM is an existing supplier. The role is for an Infrastructure Specialist on a 6-12 month contract, remote within the UK, with potential travel to London, Manchester, Leicester, Hursley, Glasgow, or Edinburgh. The rate is £510 per day inside IR35, umbrella only. We are looking for someone ready to support nationally critical infrastructure with a team that values delivery excellence.
