Job Description

Salary: £36,000 - 67,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance.
  • You must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture/Design.
  • Experience in Systems Integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with automation scripting.
  • Experience with performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience administering or deploying monitoring and observability tools such as CheckMK, Prometheus, or Zabbix.
  • Experience administering or deploying SIEM tools such as Elastic Security, Splunk, or Trellix ESM.
  • Experience working with dashboarding and visualisation tools such as Kibana or Grafana.
  • Desirable: Ansible automation experience.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of monitoring networking equipment using SNMP.
  • Desirable: Understanding of data pipeline tools like NiFi.
  • Desirable: Experience working in operational environments.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of data tuning and data quality processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide architectural direction for health and security monitoring technologies across a large platform.
  • Engage closely with operational teams to understand their use cases and requirements for monitoring toolsets.
  • Collaborate with technical architects and security leads to ensure compliance with design standards and security requirements.
  • Document processes and procedures required for deployment, maintenance, and operational use of monitoring technologies.
  • Champion the use of automation and orchestration capabilities to promote efficiency and improve working processes.
