Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong infrastructure experience with the ability to hit the ground running
• Experience with Windows Server
• Experience with Active Directory
• Experience with networking and firewalls
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of cyber security best practices
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential

Responsibilities:

• Support and improve our core infrastructure, security, and networking environments across a multi-site UK operation
• Work closely with our Infrastructure Manager
• Contribute to infrastructure, networking, and security projects
• Take real ownership and responsibility within a small, collaborative team

We are a manufacturing company seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. The role is based across Skelmersdale, Sheffield, and Scarborough, with four days on site and a half-day work-from-home on Friday. We offer a salary of up to £50,000 plus an on-call allowance and benefits. This is a hands-on role with broad technical exposure, working closely with our Infrastructure Manager in a small, collaborative team.
