Identity and Access Management Lead

Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need proven experience in a dedicated identity and access management role.
• We need a strong understanding of underlying security configuration for AD, Azure AD, and cloud environments.
• We need good working knowledge of Entra Conditional Access and zero-trust security models.
• We need experience with SailPoint, Azure PIM, and Delinea.
• We need good working knowledge of identity governance and administration frameworks.
• We need the capability to develop, implement, and make decisions on comprehensive IAM policies and procedures across on-premise and Azure cloud environments.
• We need the ability to lead and motivate team members toward better ways of working, efficient delivery of work items, and a strong security posture.
• We need an industry-standard cybersecurity degree and/or relevant certifications.

Responsibilities:

• We will ensure that user access, both privileged and non-privileged, and third-party access is appropriately configured and administered.
• We will work with business users and service owners to define and configure appropriate role profiles for core applications.
• We will collaborate with other security, network, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions.
• We will assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive identity and access management strategy aligned with our security and business objectives.
• We will identify and respond to potential risks and threats related to identity, ensuring appropriate escalation and action.
• We will support the wider Security Operations team with day-to-day activities, incident management, and other required activities.
• We will carry out recurring security checks related to IAM, including daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
• We will configure and manage Conditional Access policies.
• We will support delivery teams on IAM-related topics.
• We will help drive Security Operations support from a security engineering perspective.

We are recruiting for an experienced Identity and Access Management Lead for an initial 6-month contract on a negotiable day rate based on experience. The role is based in Leeds on a hybrid basis, and we need someone who can get to our Leeds office, with a high degree of flexibility on the frequency of office days.
