Group Head of EHS

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience delivering EHS improvements within hazardous industrial environments
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to drive a positive safety culture
• Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
• Experience working closely with senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders, translating EHS and business priorities into clear, actionable outcomes
• Outcome-focused approach, with strong organisational skills
• Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in EHS

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Executive Team to help shape and deliver the EHS strategy across our business
• Support our aim of achieving zero harm and sustainable operations
• Lead the development of group-wide EHS policies, procedures and guidance
• Drive strategic EHS projects
• Provide assurance through audits and governance activities across the business
• Support compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation
• Lead incident investigations where required
• Promote EHS communications and best practice
• Deputise for the Group EHS Director when necessary
