Graduate Solar Engineer

Salary: £29,000 - 29,000 per year

Requirements:

• A degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Willingness to work across both office and site environments
• A basic understanding of, and genuine enthusiasm for, renewable energy and solar PV systems

Responsibilities:

• Designing solar PV systems
• Helping prepare O&M quotations and proposals
• Sitting in on client meetings alongside the O&M and Project Management teams
• Carrying out daily remote monitoring of PV systems under long-term contracts
• Assisting with system design and site documentation
• Preparing Health and Safety documentation to company standards
• Contributing to quarterly and annual O&M performance reports
• Working on site to support monitoring system setup

We are hiring multiple engineering graduates to join our Graduate Engineer Training Programme at our Reading HQ. This is a structured route toward becoming a Chartered Engineer and, ultimately, a future leader within our business. The role offers broad early-career experience across design, site work, client-facing activity, and project support in a hybrid Reading-based position, with a salary of up to £29,000 per annum.
