ERP Implementation Lead
Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- We need someone with a track record of delivering several ERP implementations successfully.
- We need strong understanding of ERP methodologies and best practice.
- We need strong knowledge of Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll processes.
- We need exceptional programme leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- We need the ability to challenge, influence and drive decision-making.
- We need strong commercial, supplier and contract management capability.
- We need excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable: MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ.
- Desirable: Agile Project Management certification.
- Desirable: Change Management qualification such as Prosci, APMG or equivalent.
- Desirable: Relevant ERP vendor certifications.
- We will ask you to lead end-to-end delivery of our enterprise-wide ERP implementation.
- We will ask you to manage programme planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource management.
- We will ask you to provide governance, reporting and assurance to senior leadership and boards.
- We will ask you to lead organisation-wide process redesign and standardisation.
- We will ask you to manage stakeholder engagement across executive, operational and delivery teams.
- We will ask you to oversee data migration, systems integration and testing.
- We will ask you to lead cutover, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.

We are East West Rail, a nationally significant railway project delivering much-needed transport connections between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. We are driving a major enterprise transformation to migrate to a modern, integrated ERP solution linking Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll, as well as the wider construction programme. This is a high-impact permanent hybrid role within our Corporate Services department. You will initially report to the Director of Finance, moving to a new Head of Transformation once appointed, and while the role starts without direct reports, we expect the team to grow as the programme scales.
