  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, ARM or similar technologies.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps and GitHub.

  • Experience managing enterprise-scale web applications, microservices and high-traffic digital platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Catchpoint or similar.
  • Experience managing incidents, problem management, root cause analysis and live production environments.
  • Understanding of application and cloud security, including OWASP principles, WAF, bot management and security scanning.
  • Experience with CDN technologies and security controls, such as Akamai, Cloudflare or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and develop a DevOps team, managing capacity, priorities and day-to-day delivery.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across Azure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, automation and operational tooling.
  • Oversee the reliability, availability, security and performance of ecommerce and digital platforms across development, test and production environments.
  • Support frequent product launches and releases, working closely with Development, Product, Testing, Security and IT teams to ensure platforms are ready for live service.
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis and service improvement activities, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and lessons are applied.
  • Manage monitoring and observability, using tools such as Dynatrace or similar platforms to improve visibility, alerting and platform performance.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure, environments and costs, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improved efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of secure networking, CDN and certificate management solutions, including technologies such as Akamai or Cloudflare.
  • Maintain operational standards, documentation, runbooks, KPIs and SLOs across the DevOps function.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners, ensuring services meet agreed performance and operational requirements.
  • Manage the DevOps on-call rota and ensure appropriate support coverage for production services.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce automation, AI-assisted tooling and improved engineering practices across the DevOps function.
