Data Engineer - Manchester

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Data Engineering related qualification and/or extensive Data Development experience in a commercial or Agile environment
• Experience of AWS, Python, SQL, Git and PySpark
• Desirable: SISS or SAS experience
• Desirable: Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience
• Desirable: Experience of Database technologies
• Desirable: Experience in Financial Services organisation

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test quality data engineering solutions
• Migrate and integrate data into the new ecosystem
• Review and assure data engineering processes
• Provide guidance to team members on design, build and test activities
• Ensure adherence to standard driven code development
• Deliver solutions that meet business needs in a timely manner
• Take responsibility for testing solutions, including analysis of requirements and design of test cases & scripts
• Prepare test data and create and execute tests to ensure effective and accurate deliverables
