Data Engineer

Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Pig
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Apache NiFi
• Experience with Python or Java
• Eligibility to achieve DV clearance

Responsibilities:

• Develop data pipelines, including data ingestion and pipeline orchestration design and tooling
• Integrate and enrich data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and quality
• Extract valuable insights from data to provide actionable intelligence for our customers
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
• Monitor data systems for performance issues and apply necessary optimisations or updates
• Help our scrum team decompose user requests and key results into epics and stories
• Write clean, secure code following a test-driven approach
• Create code that is open by default and easy for others to reuse
