Data Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

• We require the ability to work independently and pick up technical tasks from project plans.
• We require strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data issues, pipeline inconsistencies, and migration challenges.
• We require a clear understanding of data structures and pipeline logic.
• We value experience with migration from on-premises systems to cloud environments as a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• We design, build, and maintain microservices-based applications and data engineering pipelines.
• We work hands-on across Java services, backend systems, and data processing platforms.
• We support the migration of multiple pipelines handling varied datasets.
• We take ownership of technical tasks independently and progress work from GitHub plans.
• We identify and resolve data issues, pipeline inconsistencies, and migration challenges.
• We maintain clarity around data structures and pipeline logic.
• We collaborate closely with data engineers, QA, product, and platform teams to deliver high-quality services and data products.
