Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Writer.
• We need someone with experience documenting Microsoft Azure technical standards, security guidance, and developer documentation.
• We are looking for someone who can work closely with Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Information Security, and Development teams.
• We need strong understanding of cloud documentation practices, including version control and alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you develop and maintain technical standards, security guidance, and developer documentation for our Microsoft Azure platform.
• You will document Azure build standards, security controls, architectural patterns, and implementation guidance.
• You will publish documentation through our Development Portal, Git repositories, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• You will help ensure our cloud documentation is accurate, accessible, version-controlled, and aligned with enterprise architecture, security standards, and engineering best practice.

We are hiring a Cloud Technical Writer for a remote, 6-month contract outside IR35 at a rate of £350 to £500. You will work closely with our Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Information Security, and Development teams to support consistent, secure, and compliant cloud adoption across our Microsoft Azure platform. Our documentation will be published through our Development Portal, Git repositories, Confluence, and SharePoint.
