Business Analyst

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within large, complex organisations, ideally in insurance
• Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements and user stories
• Capability to model as-is and to-be processes using formal modelling techniques
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum delivery model or setup
• Previous experience ensuring non-functional requirements are understood
• Strong knowledge of claims systems and processes
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and business process improvement
• Experience working in Agile delivery practices
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
• Flexible approach to hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week onsite
• Immediate availability is desirable
• Nice to have: experience with policy administration system transformation projects
• Nice to have: understanding of claims/PAS platforms such as Guidewire, Acturis, Duck Creek, or similar
• Nice to have: good knowledge of CRM systems such as MS Dynamics, Salesforce, or Peoplesoft

• Work as a Business Analyst supporting insurance claims and CRM-related change initiatives
• Elicit, document, and manage business requirements and user stories
• Model current-state and future-state processes
• Work within an Agile Scrum delivery model
• Ensure non-functional requirements are captured and understood
• Support requirements elicitation, process mapping, and business process improvement
• Engage with stakeholders and influence key decisions across the business

We are a high-profile insurance firm offering a 6-month contract for a Business Analyst role based in Brighton or London on a hybrid basis, with 1-2 days per week onsite. The position is inside IR35 and is suited to someone with strong insurance, claims, and ideally CRM experience. We operate in an Agile environment and are looking for someone who can join us urgently to support our claims and transformation work.
