Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Passion for building robust, scalable software systems, with an interest in developer productivity and infrastructure at scale
  • Systems-engineering mindset, with a focus on platform reliability and turnaround time
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working across sites and time zones
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills; pragmatic approach to tradeoffs and willingness to learn new tools
  • Solid software engineering experience building automation, tooling, or infrastructure, with strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining software across Linux and Windows environments
  • Experience designing or operating regression or CI systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent, and job schedulers such as LSF or Slurm
  • Experience designing databases and services for managing large volumes of assets, releases, and results, and building reports or dashboards
  • Experience with QEMU or similar software emulation or virtualization platforms for running and scaling test workloads
  • Comfort operating compute and storage resources at scale and optimizing throughput, reliability, and turnaround time
  • Working knowledge of Git, build systems, and general DevOps or release-engineering practices
  • Familiarity with running workloads on hardware emulation platforms such as Synopsys ZeBu, Cadence Palladium, or Siemens Veloce is a plus
  • Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and regression environments that run large-scale test suites owned by validation, design, and other teams across Linux and Windows platforms
  • Design and maintain a scalable execution engine that uses machine and storage resources efficiently
  • Design and maintain databases for managing assets, releases, and results
  • Integrate and support hardware emulation platforms as execution targets within the automation flow
  • Improve our validation automation ecosystem and infrastructure
  • Influence and align other tools teams around common CI and regression methodologies
  • Collaborate with tools teams, architects, and the Design and Verification team to support quality releases and clear presentation of complex results
