Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Digital)

Salary: £42,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in React and Next.js for modern web application development.
• Experience building and supporting REST APIs and backend services using C# and .NET.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native services and identity integrations.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub Actions, automation tooling and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, security, performance optimisation and SQL.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and mentoring skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Desirable: experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, Sitecore XM Cloud, Vercel, Playwright, Storybook, GraphQL, Marketing Cloud, Aprimo, Seismic, Sitecore Search, CodeQL, SonarQube, or enterprise-scale digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications, APIs and digital integrations that deliver secure, scalable and high-performing client experiences.
• Lead technical design decisions, influence architecture and ensure alignment with engineering, security and accessibility standards.
• Drive cloud-native development within Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD automation, observability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product, UX, architecture and business teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions and technology modernisation initiatives.
• Investigate complex production issues, lead root cause analysis and continuously improve platform resilience and service performance.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering capability, reusable platform services and cross-team improvement initiatives.
