IT Helpdesk Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate while supporting various sites
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and effective as part of a team
• Experience with Active Directory, including Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
• Two years of equivalent work experience in a related field
• Experience with VMware ESXi preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• At least two years of experience in IT and network support
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet technologies, IP routing and routing protocols, Windows 10, network security technologies, and general desktop support
• Technical knowledge of networks and systems interconnectivity
• Experience with current best practices in IT standards, principles, and security practices

Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and support all aspects of networks, including software, hardware, LANs, WANs, telecommunications systems, and their components
• Support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of network technologies
• Install and configure routers, switches, wireless equipment, firewalls, and related technologies
