Cyber Resilience Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cyber resilience and recovery
• Exposure to Business Continuity, Incident Response, Cyber Recovery or Disaster Recovery, enterprise IT environments, resilience and recovery planning, technical documentation and report writing, and stakeholder communication
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex plans involving multiple systems and stakeholders
• Desirable: experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Site Recovery and Recovery Services; Rubrik or similar cyber-recovery platforms; Microsoft Defender; or communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business systems to understand cyber-incident impacts, dependencies and recovery paths
• Maintain and test Business Continuity, Incident Response and Cyber Recovery plans
• Conduct practical system recovery and resilience testing
• Contribute to incident reviews and ensure lessons learned improve future resilience
• Identify and escalate weaknesses in resilience strategies
• Work with project and change teams to ensure resilience is considered in new developments
• Produce clear resilience documentation, plans and reports
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders on recovery planning

Were recruiting a Cyber Resilience Analyst to join an established organisation and help strengthen its ability to respond to, recover from and learn from cyber incidents. This varied role combines hands-on technical recovery testing with Business Continuity, Incident Response and Cyber Recovery planning, working with teams across IT and the wider business. The position is based in Chester, with a hybrid arrangement requiring a minimum of two days per week onsite. Salary is up to £55,000.
