Projects Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge and experience with IT projects or infrastructure
• Good organisation and workload management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and see projects through to completion
• Confidence working independently and directly with customers
• A full UK driving licence for travel to customer sites
• MSP experience is preferred but not essential
• Experience with UniFi, Datto RMM/Autotask, 3CX, Sophos, RDS/FSLogix, Huntress, Inky, structured cabling or CCTV is useful but not essential
• Eligibility to work in the UK indefinitely and without sponsorship

Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical IT projects from start to finish
• Install, configure and upgrade servers
• Carry out Microsoft 365 migrations and configuration
• Work with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Configure and support networking, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching and VPNs
• Work with Hyper-V and virtualisation
• Support backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Configure endpoint security and MFA
• Configure and deploy Wi-Fi
• Work with Intune and Autopilot
• Work with Azure infrastructure
• Maintain technical documentation and project records
• Provide customer-facing technical support and communication
• Travel to customer sites across the South East and London

We are a growing IT team seeking a Projects Engineer to join our Complex Projects team, delivering varied and technically challenging projects for customers across the South East and London. The role combines office-based work with customer visits and offers exposure to different technologies and customer environments. We offer a salary of £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience, Monday to Friday working hours of 9.00am–5.30pm, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service), summer and Christmas team events, regular team activities, and training and development opportunities.
