Senior Cloud Developer

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience developing cloud-based applications
• Strong knowledge of Azure, including compute, storage, security, monitoring, and diagnostics
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS
• Strong C# / .NET development experience
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience working within a CI/CD environment
• A proactive approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Nice to have: experience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
• Nice to have: experience mentoring junior engineers
• Nice to have: experience with SaaS platforms

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable cloud services in Azure
• Build and support microservices and REST APIs using C#
• Work with Kubernetes / AKS and containerised applications
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Work closely with other technical teams across the wider platform
• Help identify and resolve technical issues across production environments
• Take ownership of what we build and how it operates in production
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers

You will work as part of a cross-functional engineering team, designing and building highly available SaaS services in a modern Azure environment.
