IT Assets & Connectivity Coordinator

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in IT asset management or a related IT operations role
• Experience using IT asset management tools or software to maintain and track asset records
• Practical knowledge of software licensing, audits or compliance requirements
• Experience maintaining accurate inventories and producing asset, compliance or cost reports
• Experience providing first-line support or troubleshooting IT connectivity incidents
• Organised and analytical, with a strong focus on accuracy and effective problem-solving
• Comfortable working across teams and managing detailed records while balancing security, compliance, cost and operational requirements
• A basic DBS check is stated as mandatory; the posting also states that no criminal record check is required for this role
• Knowledge of IT procurement, contract negotiation, data protection or ITIL is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Help manage IT hardware, software, licences and peripherals throughout their lifecycle
• Maintain accurate asset records and track usage and location
• Support procurement and responsible disposal
• Monitor software licence compliance and produce reports for stakeholders
• Work with IT security and other teams to improve processes and reduce costs
• Provide first-line support for connectivity incidents
