Head of Digital Operations and Cybersecurity

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Senior experience across technology operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity
• Collaborative and credible leadership, strong technical judgement, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and resolve them
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check

Responsibilities:

• Lead our service delivery, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams
• Set high standards for operational performance and strengthen our cyber resilience
• Ensure our cloud and on-premise technology is reliable, secure and easy to use
• Help shape strategy and lead service improvement
• Manage key technology partners
• Lead our resilience and response to major incidents, including managing cybersecurity or service incidents whenever they occur
• Lead management of the on-call and out-of-hours rota
• Build digital capability across West Kent
• Deputise for the Digital Technology Director when required

We are creating a senior technology leadership role reporting to our Digital Technology Director, with the opportunity to shape secure, resilient digital services and lead an ambitious function at a pivotal stage of its development. This is a full-time, permanent role paying £85,000 per annum, based at our Sevenoaks office, with hybrid working that averages two office days per week. Hours are 37 per week, Monday to Thursday 08:45–17:15 and Friday 08:45–16:45.
