Requirements:

• You should have extensive procurement experience and be able to adapt to change while maintaining high standards.
• You should hold MCIPS professional qualification, or equivalent experience and knowledge.

• You should be able to navigate complex projects and manage expectations.
• All colleagues must be security cleared before joining us, and successful applicants will be asked to achieve Security Check (SC) clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We head up the team procuring technical and ICT-related products or services needed across FCDO Services.
• We support and guide the team so they can manage ICT procurement and supplier relationships more effectively.
• We collaborate closely with the wider business to shape category strategy with global impact.
• We understand future ICT requirements and keep an eye on the bigger picture.
• We monitor activity across teams to manage risk and spot opportunities in the supply chain.
• We ensure we get the right ICT services and products, at the right time, at the right price.
• We empower the team to make procurement decisions and provide the right support.
• We build positive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• We navigate complex projects and manage expectations around FCDO Services.
• We uphold our customer service promise to be reliable, responsive and build relationships.

This senior, full-time permanent role is based at Hanslope Park near Milton Keynes, with a free shuttle bus available from central Milton Keynes. We offer a salary of £59,955 to £68,883, plus a £1,750 location allowance and an additional allowance of between £3,500 and £7,000 depending on professional qualifications.
