Data Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Two to three years in a finance-facing analytics role
• Strong Power BI skills
• Solid FP&A knowledge
• Ability to define and track KPIs and financial metrics
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to finance and non-finance audiences
• SQL, Python, advanced Excel, and experience with star or snowflake data models are beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards used by senior leaders
• Define and own the KPIs and financial metrics that matter to the business
• Help create a single reliable source of truth from data spread across multiple ERP systems and APIs
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling using data-led insight
• Work hands-on across Power BI, Excel, and where relevant SQL, Python, or VBA
• Improve governance and automate manual processes
• Explore how agentic AI and intelligent automation could improve reporting

We are a well-established, independently owned professional services consultancy based at our Cambridge headquarters. You will join our Finance and Operations team as a data-driven partner supporting the business with reporting, insight, and analysis. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role, with up to half your time from home after probation.
