Short Term Build Analyst

Salary: £53,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong analytical background and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Good understanding of resource planning principles and practices.
• Experience using eWFM.
• Experience working across a wide group of stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of what delivers great customer service for our customers and our people.
• Highly numerate with good accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce clear and concise documents and analysis using PowerPoint and Excel to support comprehension and decision making.
• Ability to perform effectively under time pressure, adversity, disappointment, or opposition.

Responsibilities:

• Produce and deliver resource plans for work types across Customer Operations from 1 to 12 weeks ahead.
• Support Resource Planning teams to plan and schedule activity optimally.
• Increase profitability while remaining committed to treating customers fairly.
• Create a safe environment with the aim of achieving a zero-incident workplace.
• Contribute to the workstream to deliver objectives to agreed targets.
• Develop resource plans, models, and processes to forecast staffing levels, service levels, and other key performance indicators.
• Lead discussions with key stakeholders to ensure planning inputs are current and reflect operational requirements.
• Assess the impact of risks and opportunities to the plan and communicate them effectively.
• Review performance against plan and provide analysis to operational stakeholders.
• Interpret and comment on deviations from agreed performance metrics for the Resource Planning leadership team.
• Own the planning cycles and processes that support plan production.
• Link Forecasting, Long Term, and Change outputs into an operationally deliverable plan.
• Generate and support ideas to improve team outputs and benefit customers.
• Carry out pre- and post-event analysis and ad hoc scenario modelling to support future resource decisions.
• Organise, upskill, and support Resource Planning projects that drive business strategy.
• Keep up to date with business strategy and operational issues.
• Attend relevant meetings to support business improvements.
• Support development of the Resource Planning intranet when applicable.
• Design, maintain, and develop governance processes across the Resource Planning teams.
• Audit workforce management systems with other departments to improve control points and accuracy.
• Follow competence and training procedures to support fair treatment and informed customer service.
• Ensure data compliance with DPA policies and closely monitor and control staff data sharing.
• Ensure customer-related information systems are operated to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records.
• Identify risks and take action to resolve them when required.
