Network & Systems Engineer - CCNP - Watford

Salary: £52,000 - 52,000 per year

Requirements:

• Fully certified CCNP is necessary.
• Around 5+ years of recent network / infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
• Good firewall knowledge.
• Experience working with Azure.
• Broad enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable remaining technically hands-on.
• Full driving licence.
• A current CCNP qualification would be beneficial, although recent practical Cisco experience is more important than certification alone.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain our Cisco network infrastructure.
• Provide 3rd line support across server and network environments.
• Work with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi technologies, IP telephony systems, firewalls, and systems architecture.
• Support Hyper-V, Microsoft 365 / Azure, backup technologies, and Active Directory.
• Support Windows Server and Active Directory technologies.
• Support Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and wider network security technologies.
• Support backup, recovery, and core infrastructure services.
• Investigate incidents and complete root-cause analysis.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, projects, and continuous improvement activity.
• Work closely with wider IT teams and third-party suppliers where required.
