Job Description

Salary: £36,000 - 67,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Microsoft Azure management of users, devices and groups
  • ITIL foundation accredited
  • Microsoft InTune device and policy management
  • Active Directory group policy management, with understanding of DNS and DHCP
  • Strong customer focus and drive to provide proactive, pre-emptive and best-in-class service
  • Ability to process complex ideas and think logically; perceives and understands others
  • Ability to take well-evaluated risks and make decisions and take action
  • Proven ability to execute plans under difficult circumstances; confronts and resolves conflict; demonstrates high energy
  • Acts with integrity and takes responsibility for own actions and responses
  • Familiarity with collaborative ways of working
  • Ability to follow well-defined procedures and qualify/highlight anomalies
  • SCCM deployments, packaging, patching, reporting and upgrading
  • Windows 10 troubleshooting and support of an EUC estate of 7500 devices
  • Windows Defender compliance across the estate
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge
  • Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator certification (MD-100, MD-101)
  • Microsoft 365 Messaging Administrator certification (MS-203)
  • SCCM-based courses or qualifications
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver successful technical resolutions to complex customer 3rd line issues
  • Problem solve and apply technical knowledge to unknown issues
  • Plan complex changes with first-time delivery to ensure sustained service across a wide range of products and solutions
  • Provide service management and design support on existing and new contracts
  • Implement solutions in a timely manner to meet service level agreements
  • Proactively drive own workload and reactively manage multiple tasks escalated by customers and other EMS teams
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and build effective working relationships to ensure smooth running of contracts
  • Drive own development plan to maintain skill set and knowledge of 3rd party and BT products and solutions
  • Participate and contribute to continuous improvement and coaching within the team
  • Manage workload and delivery to meet key performance indicators
  • Make complex decisions to balance customer and business needs
  • Produce and regularly review technical support documentation to an agreed standard
  • Review and accept Service Transition documentation
  • Report on the health of the information, carry out analysis, and implement improvement actions
  • Identify, assess and investigate problems through to root cause
  • Provide 2nd line support to meet contractual SLAs as required
  • Complete application upgrades to meet contractual SLAs as required
