Anaplan Model Builder

Salary: £60,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need an experienced Anaplan Model Builder with high-level Anaplan model building experience.
• We need experience gained within the insurance or wider financial services sector.
• We need experience building models within Anaplan from start to finish.
• We need the ability to demonstrate the mechanics and workings of Anaplan to stakeholders at all levels.
• An accounting background is preferred.
• Experience of IFRS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We will build all modules, mappings, front ends, datasets, and outputs within Anaplan to support FP&A and the wider company.
• We will help replace existing Excel planning models.
• We will understand existing planning and forecasting Excel models and replicate, enhance, and streamline them within Anaplan.
• We will load data into Anaplan in line with existing models and results.
• We will build all Anaplan mapping, calculation, and output modules required for forecasting and planning.
• We will derive forecast profit and loss statements and balance sheet positions for all entities.
• We will understand the differences between Company and Syndicate requirements, including variations due to IFRS and UK GAAP reporting.
• We will build Anaplan front ends to capture data inputs from other departments across the business.
• We will build a suite of review outputs to show actuals, plans, and forecasts in various forms.
• We will build Anaplan reports where required.
• We will input and maintain all mappings, hierarchies, and lists within Anaplan.

We are a London market insurance business recruiting for a full-time permanent Anaplan Model Builder to strengthen our FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role supports the wider business in replacing existing Excel planning models and improving forecasting and planning processes across the company.
