Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on professional experience in Data Science, successfully building and deploying systems from prototype to production in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong predictive modeling foundation, with extensive experience in traditional ML algorithms, Deep Learning frameworks, and complex time-series forecasting.
  • Experience developing production-grade Python code, with high proficiency in Python, Pandas, and modern software practices such as testing, clean code, code review, and CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing data models and access patterns for modern data warehouses such as Snowflake and Databricks, using SQL and transformation tools like dbt.
  • Experience working with scalable cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and handling columnar data formats like Parquet.
  • Experience with tools and frameworks for training, tracking, deploying, and monitoring models in production, such as MLflow, Optuna, Prefect, or Airflow.
  • Background in supply chain forecasting, enterprise AI, or retail analytics.
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical deployment of our engines for new clients.
  • Partner closely with customers, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to adapt and customize ML models so they reflect client-specific business logic, operational guardrails, and data nuances.
  • Design and develop scalable functional analytic capabilities that integrate into Anaplan Applications and turn customer data into automated business insights.
  • Design, train, and implement machine learning and deep learning models focused on demand sensing and cold-start forecasting problems.
  • Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using a hybrid SQL/Python architecture, including dbt and Snowflake, to extract temporal signals from high-volume transactional retail data.
  • Partner with our engineers to transition models from prototype into scalable, monitored, and reliable production pipelines using MLOps tools.
