Market Data Expert

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

• Experience leading vendor relationships and procurement strategy for research market data vendors

Responsibilities:

• Lead market data procurement strategy across private equity, investment banking, and asset management clients
• Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on research vendors for our internal team and clients
• Own vendor relationships across research providers
• Manage the full vendor lifecycle, including discovery, due diligence, commercial negotiation, contract execution, license analysis, and renewals
• Proactively manage client renewals with research market data vendors and ensure timely contract execution
• Deliver measurable cost savings through sourcing strategies such as supplier consolidation, leveraged volume, competitive bidding, optimization, and fact-based negotiation
• Analyze usage data to reduce waste, optimize spend, and mitigate audit risk
• Deliver insights and strategic recommendations as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders

This is a hybrid role requiring four days a week in the office, with compensation of up to a $160,000 base plus bonus.
