Pricing Data Scientist

Salary: £53,000 - 93,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need someone able to interrogate data and conduct pricing analysis within SQL and Python/R.
• We need someone able to build GLMs, GBMs, and other claims models within Python/R.
• We want at least 3 years of experience working in a data-driven, ideally commercial, role.
• We are able to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities:

• We want you to develop a deep understanding of our quote, policy, and claims data and use it to derive insights that enhance our pricing.
• We want you to own one of the strategic initiatives of the pricing team, such as supporting our expansion plans or protecting our renewing customers.
• We want you to conduct claims analysis and claims modelling using SQL and Python.
• We want you to conduct price optimisation analysis and modelling using Python.
• We want you to build and deploy models in APIs for use in real-time pricing.
• We want you to identify new sources of external data that refine our view of claims risk and quantify their value.
• We want you to work directly with our Engineering and MLENG functions to implement pricing proposals.
• We want you to provide pricing support for the launch of multiple new products.
