Trainee IT Support

Salary: £26,000 - 26,000 per year

Requirements:

• This is an entry-level role, and previous industry experience is not essential.
• In the absence of hands-on experience, we expect candidates to hold a minimum Level 3 Computing qualification or equivalent.
• We expect candidates to hold an industry-related certification such as Microsoft or CompTIA, or be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for technology alongside active personal development toward a career in IT.
• A genuine passion for technology and determination to continue learning through ongoing training and development.
• The ability to retain information and keep abreast of the latest technology updates and enhancements.
• A positive and enthusiastic mindset and attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
• Resilience to working in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail, even during busy periods.

Responsibilities:

• Take incoming service requests from clients.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Use technology skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Maintain a healthy technology and security standard across clients technology stack.
• Work in an extremely fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Work an office-based schedule from Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700.
• Be available for additional hours after passing the 3-month probationary period, on a rota basis, with overtime paid at time and a half or time in lieu.

We are recruiting for an entry-level Trainee IT Support role with training and development provided as part of the position. We offer a Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700 office-based working pattern, with additional rota-based hours available after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.
