SAP PM Functional Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 7+ years of experience in designing and delivering technical/functional solutions against specifications and blueprints in accordance with agreed standards and procedures.
• Strong experience in SAP PM functional development/support.
• Strong experience working in an operational service and maintenance environment.
• Specific knowledge of the SAP PM module, including service BOMs, functional location structures, PM orders/notifications/task lists, maintenance scheduling/resource management, equipment records, serialisation, split valuation, and project stock.
• Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
• Completed solution configuration for the primary module.
• Experience operating in a multi-project, matrix-managed environment.
• Experience with systems development and project management methodologies.
• Understanding of ASAP and experience delivering solutions within ASAP methodology.
• Experience supporting the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of iPPE would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver technical and functional solutions against specifications and blueprints.
• Complete unit and integration testing of developments in line with agreed processes and timescales.
• Deliver regular release items, including problems and requests, by understanding business requirements and completing the design, build, testing, and deployment of functional components.
• Communicate internally with business users and externally with SAP.
• Support the acceptance and implementation of new functional solutions into the production environment, ensuring relevant support documentation is available.
• Develop and deliver release notes and key user training for new or enhanced application functionality.
• Complete detailed solution documentation for functional solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in systems applications within a nominated function.
• Keep abreast of advances in available technologies and best practice to identify and exploit new opportunities.
