System Optimisation Lead

Requirements:

• Experience in organisational design, transformation or change.
• Demonstrated experience in leading technology-driven change or large-scale system implementations.
• Experience delivering user training, coaching, and guidance on system functionality and best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of enterprise systems and applications.
• Perform system upgrades, updates, patching activities, and configuration changes to ensure platforms remain secure and optimised.
• Act as the technical subject matter expert for assigned systems, providing guidance and best practice recommendations to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve system issues across both front-end and back-end environments.
• Liaise directly with third-party vendors and software providers to manage incidents, resolve technical issues, and maximise system functionality.
• Review and optimise system performance, configurations, workflows, and integrations to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
• Support testing activities, including system, integration, user acceptance, and post-implementation testing.
• Deliver training, coaching, and user support to colleagues and business users to improve adoption and utilisation of system functionality.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, technical teams, suppliers, and programme delivery teams.
• Provide regular reporting, updates, and management information to stakeholders and project teams.

We are hiring a System Optimisation Lead for a 6 month contract initially at £680 per day inside IR35. In this role, we support, implement, configure, and optimise business-critical systems across a range of transformation initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure systems operate effectively and deliver maximum value, while also providing training, guidance, and support to users and colleagues on system capabilities and best practices.
