Senior Cyber Security Consultant

Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements:

• Digitally literate, including fluency in Microsoft Office tools
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in security vulnerability, risk, audit, and compliance
• Understanding of relevant NIST frameworks and ISO27001 standards, and how to apply them in practice
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK
• Ability to work in accordance with Secure by Design approaches
• Previous experience communicating effectively with stakeholders and customers at all levels
• Ability to demonstrate the required level of experience and willingness to learn
• Eligibility for DV clearance, as a minimum

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide advice and support across multiple areas in support of our customers
• Lead cyber security vulnerability analysis
• Lead cyber security audit processes
• Generate business risk models and associated material in support of operational cyber security and business planning
• Provide advice and support to cyber exercise scenario creation
• Lead the provision of advice and support to cyber exercise scenario creation in relation to security posture, standards, regulation, vulnerabilities, and attack paths appropriate to the business to meet exercise objectives
• Take the lead on cyber security audit processes in support of operational and business planning activity across a range of different domains against recognised standards
• Provide a rich picture of organisational maturity and risk exposure to cyber security, in support of operational and business planning activity across a range of different domains using established frameworks
