Technical Lead
Job Description
Salary: £39,000 - 79,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven track record operating in Azure at an advanced level
- Experience with Azure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Bicep)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use initiative and creativity to solve more challenging issues
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500, AI-102, or SC-100
- Experience and knowledge in several of the following technologies: Azure, Azure Entra, ASR, IaaS, PaaS, subscriptions and management groups, RBAC, NSG, Key Vault, Automation, Storage, App Service, Azure SQL, server infrastructure, HP and Dell, Microsoft Server OS through to 2019, VMware, Intune, Azure Arc support, backup technologies, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, replication, AD sync, GPO, clustering, and DFS
- Provide technical escalation for the relevant virtual teams technology focus
- Deliver high-quality onsite and remote support across a range of technical incidents and problems
- Take ownership of escalated and complex tickets and manage them through to resolution within SLA
- Collaborate with internal and customer teams to maintain standards and functionality
- Attend UK-based customer offices from time to time depending on service requirements
- Contribute to client and internal Technical Design Architect discussions and help table solutions where appropriate
- Troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of customer IT systems
- Handle Major Incidents and vendor management where required
- Engage stakeholders clearly and promptly at all levels across our organisation and the customer
- Manage end-to-end change processes in compliance with customer change requirements
- Initiate, update, approve, and maintain knowledge articles
- Contribute to problem management and root cause analysis
- Work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with remotely located team members
- Manage individual task queues to meet SLAs for time to respond and time to resolve
- Book time accurately against support and project tasks
- Work closely with shared and customer teams to share knowledge, support, and mentor colleagues
- Use strong customer service skills and keep the customer updated on progress at all times
- Follow a security-first approach and remain compliant with our security policies and practices
- Report potential client-facing risks as soon as possible
- Support malicious incident remediation where required
- Mentor and guide junior team members on complex tickets
- Participate in customer projects and new service onboarding where appropriate
