Associate Director, SAP Finance Architect

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive experience working in an architecture capacity on transformation programmes involving S/4HANA, and deployment solutions such as Central Finance, Public Cloud or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA configuration and best practices with a background in Finance
• Knowledge of SAP innovations, subject matter expertise and best-practice business processes in Finance
• Demonstrable experience of Agile working practices on SAP implementation, along with planning of activities during the project
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with client stakeholders and remote development teams
• Experience facilitating design workshops and translating requirements into design
• Ability to build strong client relationships based on subject matter expertise and quality of delivery
• Experience supporting business development activities
• Excellent senior stakeholder management
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Desirable: qualified or part-qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
• Desirable: Security Clearance to support activities in the Public Sector
• Desirable: knowledge of broader architectural principles and considerations
• Desirable: knowledge of middleware applications that support integration outside of SAP

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver architecture and road maps on large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes across the Finance landscape
• Develop and manage implementation plans that maximise the potential of SAP technology while minimising implementation risk
• Facilitate high-level and detailed design workshops for Finance architecture, collecting business requirements and mapping business processes
• Design end-to-end solutions and ensure deliverables are consistent with design principles, standards and methodologies
• Lead teams of consultants to deliver high-quality S/4HANA Finance solutions
• Ensure the finance solution design integrates seamlessly into the clients broader technology ecosystem
• Document functional specifications where a development object is required
• Lead or participate in practice development activities that support sales activities and internal capability development
• Build client relationships with senior stakeholders
