Sr Programmer-Sr Data Scientist/Analyst Real-World Data (SAS/R)

Salary: £55,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Highly proficient in SAS or R.
• Extensive familiarity with commercial claims and EHR databases, such as Optum, MarketScan, IQVIA PharMetrics, or HealthVerity.
• Ability to conduct longitudinal cohort studies, including creating study cohorts, baseline and outcome variables from scratch.
• Solid understanding of epidemiologic study designs and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with basic statistical tests, regression models, and survival analysis.
• Advanced degree in Biostatistics or Epidemiology.
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline; in lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the quality of the data.
• Review and provide input on protocol and SAP.
• Conduct analyses, including programming of TFLs.
• Develop programs and provide statistical programming support for statisticians or for client or business use.
• Source, organize, and interpret complex data sets using codes and programs.
• Develop codes that create analysis datasets, tables, and figures.
• Evaluate programming processes and suggest revisions to increase productivity.
