Application Support Analyst

Salary: £30,000 - 37,000 per year

Requirements:

• We should have previous experience supporting and administering business-critical applications within a complex organisation.
• We should have a strong understanding of application support and administration.
• We should have experience managing user permissions, troubleshooting application issues, and working with external software providers.
• We should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• We should have excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• We should be able to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
• We should be able to manage competing priorities effectively.
• We should be able to engage with multiple stakeholders.
• We should maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A relevant IT qualification is preferred, although equivalent commercial experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• We will support and maintain a portfolio of applications, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, and fit for business needs.
• We will act as a key point of contact for users, providing technical support.
• We will administer access permissions and manage user accounts and role-based access controls.
• We will liaise with software vendors and third-party providers to address technical issues.
• We will investigate and resolve application-related incidents.
• We will create and maintain user documentation.
• We will deliver training and guidance to end users where required.
• We will support application upgrades and enhancements.
• We will assist with integrations and data management activities.
• We will ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
• We will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve application usage.
• We will contribute towards continuous system and process improvements.
