Technical Consultant C++ Linux Networking

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience developing software using C / C++ for cross-platform use
• Good understanding of networking programming, protocol design, compression, security, and multithreaded programming
• Familiarity with Linux tool-chains and Android build systems
• Commercial awareness and business acumen
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence demonstrating products to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Support customers with the technical integration and bespoke application development of core software products
• Partner with clients to understand their needs and present solutions
• Articulate requirements to the engineering team
• Agree detailed specifications and coordinate delivery to customers
• Collaborate and problem solve within an R&D environment using cutting-edge technology
• Develop new ideas and prototypes that may become new product lines
• Collaborate closely with the sales team
• Travel in the UK and Europe to clients, trade shows, and exhibitions to demonstrate the product and drive customer engagement
