Programming Tutor

Salary: £32,000 - 36,000 per year

Requirements:

• Mastery of one or more of the following: Scratch, ScratchJR, Blockly, Unity3D, C#, Java, Python for Minecraft programming
• Experience with mobile app development tools such as App Inventor, Phone Gap, Xamarin, Android Studio, Xcode, or Thunkable
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Swift or Objective-C, Python, PHP, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with robotics tools such as Little Bits, Tynker, Dash and Dot
• Knowledge of web development tools and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tilda, Wix, or Wordpress
• Animation knowledge, including Adobe Animate
• Experience with graphic editors such as Canva, Sketch, or Inkscape
• An energetic and active person who can organise and motivate
• Interest in childrens education
• Confidence speaking in front of an audience
• Ability to communicate well with children
• Love of computer games
• Ability to work in a team
• Interest in IT and GameDev trends
• Ability to work part-time

Responsibilities:

• Teach programming to kids in Romford
• Support the development of our students
• Help motivate and organise children during lessons
• Work with children in a classroom or learning environment
• Contribute as part of a team
