Software Engineering Manager

Salary: £39,000 - 79,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 4+ years of software engineering management experience leading teams of 4 or more engineers.
• We require experience formulating a teams technical strategy and roadmap, with effective collaboration across multiple teams to execute shared goals.
• We require 5+ years of hands-on experience building distributed enterprise architectures, with a track record of delivering major features from inception to production.
• We require strong support for Agile software methodologies such as Scrum and engineering principles such as Test-Driven Development.
• We require the ability to balance tactical needs with strategic growth and quality initiatives across multiple quarters.
• Preferred: we prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Preferred: we prefer experience driving engineering velocity by integrating AI-driven tools and autonomous agents across the software development lifecycle.
• Preferred: we prefer the ability to provide a strong technical vision and deliver consistently against objectives.

Responsibilities:

• We will collaborate with product, technical leaders, and other business units to build and deliver assurance use cases.
• We will lead a team to build and scale our backend infrastructure that ingests, aggregates, and stores the data our agents collect.
• We will lead a team of operationally minded engineers and help address data processing and availability at scale as our footprint grows.
• We will manage individual team members career growth.
